BOB'S BACKGROUND
Aviation has been a passion of mine since before I earned my pilot's license back in the '60's. Flight instruction, helping others build their own planes, active EAA involvement and starting a kit of my own made it logical that I would get into "glass" work for general aviations' experimental and conventional aircraft. Being a pilot and airport bum led to my involvement with the Northwest RVators and the Blackjack Squadron. Helping a little here and there made me realize that there was a market for more and better fiberglass parts for the RV aircraft and all the other kit aircraft. Currently I am building empennage fairings for the RV -4, -6, -6A, -7, -7A, -9, and -9A, L29 wing tips; upper main intersection and lower main intersection fairings for the RV -4, -6, -6A, -7, -8, -9, -9A, -10. I have newly developed an upper nose gear fairing for the RV-6A, -7A, -8A, and -9A. Wing root fairings are available for the -6/-6A, and -7/-7A. I also have stainless steel wheel pant brackets and a -6A/-7A. My fairings have been well received throughout the U.S. and world-wide. Up to this point, my work has come through word of mouth and this web site. There are a lot of molds that I want to build, time being the limiting factor, so stay tuned, there is more to come. I retried from "my real job" a few years ago thinking I would have lots of time to develop new product lines. Well, they are getting developed, but a bit slower than I had anticipated as I am busier than ever making parts and filling orders. The great part of this job is not only in making the parts, but getting to 'chat with so many fine people around the world. Fairings-Etc.
